Om Jee Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college which came into existence in 2013 inGaura, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This institution approved by the National Council for Teacher Education offer undergraduate and diploma courses. Having 90 students along with 7 faculties, this college is capable of offering individualised faculty student ratio. Om Jee Mahavidyalaya offers three full-time courses: BA, B.Ed, and D.El.Ed to fulfill the student’s desire in taking arts and education. 

The college has many academic amenities that help to improve students’ learning process in a college. The library distinguishes as an academic base of essential material, The library has a treasury of modern books of different genre available for readers. This building also includes a reading hall for students to study and do their research in a quiet environment. Om Jee Mahavidyalaya also has well equipped laboratory as required by the experimental subjects in order to facilitate practical experience. In order to make sure an all round development of the students, Om Jee Mahavidyalaya has provided playground and other facilities sports items. Also, it has adopted efficient IT infrastructure because the institution understands the role of technology in the current learning system. 

Om Jee Mahavidyalaya provides overall three programmes through which all the programmes are full time diploma course. The most popular programme is the BA programme that has 420 intake capacities followed by two programmes, B.Ed and D.El.Ed, which take 100 students each. This has taken the total student enrollment to 620 in different courses offered in the institution. The college aims at quality provision of arts and teacher training education that will equip students with abilities in careers related to the faculty. 

Admission criteria for courses in Om Jee Mahavidyalaya is different from one another which is instrumental in the process by which students are enroled. For the B.Ed programme, therefore, the students are able to be admitted based on the merit through their current performance in the qualifying exams as well as an entrance exam. The methods of sample selection are done according to the policies established by the state government, U.T. administration or the affiliated university, if any. Likewise, for the D.El.Ed programme, admission is made on merit through marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/ or any entrance test as per the policies of state government/U.T. administration.
