Orange City College of Social Work, Nagpur, founded in 1999, shines as a light of social work education in Maharashtra. The affiliated college is located on Plot No.8 of Smruti Nagar, IInd Railway Crossing, Koradi Road, Nagpur, on a compact 0.5-acre campus. Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), it assures good quality education. The college has a total capacity enrolment of 216 students with 9 teaching faculties to deliver 3 degree-based programs to the students at various academic levels of education. 

It maintains a very reasonable level of student dynamics in accordance with gender issues; it has 345 male and 337 female students in the college, edifying a balanced institution that does not prioritize one gender above the other at any time in the pedagogy provision process. The college presents a variety of facilities, which set the environment for learning and growth among the students. The library is the storehouse of information in the institute, which provides the necessary support to the academic activities. Separate arrangements have been made for the accommodation of all boys, girls, and students from backward classes. A fully equipped gym and latest IT infrastructure make a statement of the commitment to holistic development. A cafeteria serves culinary needs for pouring students and staff. The college is geared up with an auditorium that makes the campus alive and vigorous during various events and seminars with a larger audience. The Orange City College of Social Work is being set up for offering a focused range of programs in the field of Social Work. It would offer three full-time courses: Bachelor in Social Work, BSW; Master in Social Work, MSW; and Ph.D. in Social Work. The first in line is the BSW program. This is a vigorous three-year course devoted to laying a great base for aspired social workers. The two-year MSW program caters to those who want advanced knowledge and skills in order to become specialized in the field of study. In addition, a Ph.D. program in Social Work is available for those interested in pursuing a deep understanding of this area of study and making further contributions to it.
