Oxford Model Institute of Advance Studies, Kanpur, was established in the year of 2006 and is situated at Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational institute is a Unit of Oxford Group of Institutions and conducts its activities as an affiliated college, fully approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi – a purveyor of teacher education par excellence. This shows the orientation of the institute, which is highly concentrated in terms of a learning environment, with a total enrolment of 158 students and only 9 faculty members.

Oxford Model Institute of Advance Studies takes pride in the availability of facilities that enhance the student learning experience. This two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 100 seats caters to dreams of a large number of aspiring teachers every year. Admission to the B.Ed programme would be through a selection procedure based on merit following the guidelines of a selection test conducted by the respective affiliating university and subsequent counselling.
