Paavai College of Engineering is affiliated to Anna University established in the year of 2006 and located at Pachal, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. Located in a vast area of 10.29 acres, this college provides a diverse and wide ranging course in engineering and management field. Accredited by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE), Paavai College of Engineering has been moving towards the right direction in the technical education sector. Currently, the total enrolment of the institute is 3,680; faculty 125, they have a good ratio of students and faculty members. The college gives 13 programmes over four degrees in engineering and management field.

The college has outfitted several facilities that are intended to promote the learning process of the college students. Learning resource, the library is a conducive place for scholarly information and learning, this facility boasts o n average, 18,830 volumes, 1,100 DVDs, and access to national and international journals. It uses the AUTOLIB software for the proper running of its activities and provides OPAC service in the entire campus. Paavai college of Engineering has a course to offer for anyone interested in any field of engineering in particular or any career path in general. The institute offers ten undergraduate programmes and three postgraduate programmes, all of which are on full time basis. The courses are MBA, 10 B.Tech programmes, ME Power Electronics and Drives, MCA. The total approved intake for all the courses is 582, therefore we are an institution capable of producing a number of would-be professionals every year.
