Padmashri Babasaheb Vengurlekar Mahavidyalaya, Sindhudurg was established in 2011 at Pandur, Maharashtra, as one such affiliate college concerned. It sprawls over a 3-acre area of a campus, offering various undergraduate courses in the streams of Commerce and Science, offering a total intake of 257 students and a faculty strength of 12 members focused on learning. It has up to four undergraduate programmes, two of them being Bachelor of Science and the other two being Bachelor of Commerce, which caters to diversified fields in taking up courses of Information Technology, Computer Science, Banking, and Insurance. 

The Padmashri Babasaheb Vengurlekar Mahavidyalaya has full-fledged facilities that facilitate the gaining of quality education by the students. The library, an integral part of the institution since its inception, has a heterogeneous collection of almost 5,000 books pertaining to different branches of knowledge. There are departmental laboratories at the college level to support theoretical input with hands-on experience. The campus is well-equipped with modern ICT infrastructure; it has LCD projectors in classrooms to adopt interactive, multimedia-based teaching processes. The guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and webinars have been conducted in the seminar hall, which has good ICT facilities. All these create an interactive learning atmosphere. 

Padmashri Babasaheb Vengurlekar Mahavidyalaya offers a total of four full-time undergraduate courses, including a B.Sc in Information Technology, a B.Sc in Computer Science, a B.Com, and a B.Com in Banking and Insurance. The total number of student intake for all the programmes is 257 students, so there are many kinds of opportunities for the aspiring students of the region.

The process of admission in the Padmashri Babasaheb Vengurlekar Mahavidyalaya is quite simple. It can be assumed that the procedure remains the same as undertaken by other affiliated colleges under the university. The capacity of the girls' hostel is 80 students, having 20 students in a room with basic facilities. The hostel provides a mess, dining facilities, and others with refrigerators and television facilities. The college provides the best environment and safety for the girl students in order to stay in focus with study and hostel management provides good support through an approaching caring and disciplined in nature. Holistic development is thus encouraged by Padmashri Babasaheb Vengurlekar Mahavidyalaya and its several co-curricular facilities, which allow students to develop a spirit of constant practice in order to maintain themselves regarding physical fitness. The whole second floor of the college building has been used to develop a well-equipped gymnasium, encouraging students to constantly practice in order to continue maintaining physical fitness. 

For those who have an immense interest in sports, there is no dearth of entertainment as the institute arranges indoor games such as table tennis, carom, and chess. An auditorium on the campus ensures help for the students so that they find a venue to exhibit their interests on the cultural front and seminars for academic reasons, exposing them in public, apart from the classroom, to exercise their talents as well as participate in academic discourse.
