Padum Lal Rupan Singh B.Ed and D.El.Ed College, Aurangabad, came into existence in the year 2015 as a co-educational teacher education institution. The affiliated college is approved by NCTE and has a compact campus of 0.9899 acres at Koilawan, Aurangabad District, Bihar. There is a total student enrolment of 177 and a faculty strength of 22.

The institution has a number of facilities to fulfill its academic mission and enrich the student experience. There is a well-stocked library that acts as a knowledge hub for both the students and the faculty. Departmental laboratories at the campus of Padum Lal Rupan Singh B.Ed and D.El.Ed College are functional and serve with practical experiences—these are very important in training teachers. The B.Ed. course is a two-year program with 100 seats and a Diploma in Elementary Education that is also of two years duration with 50 seats. This program is designed to equip students with efficient skills and knowledge to emerge as successful teachers at various learning levels in education.

Padum Lal Rupan Singh B.Ed and D.El.Ed College admits students on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or entrance test. Admission procedure of B.Ed Course as per policy formulated by the State Govt/UT Administration and the affiliating University. Regarding D.El.Ed Course, the admission procedure shall be as per the State Govt. or UT administration policy.
