Pakur B.Ed. College was established in the year 2017 and is a self financed college situated inPakur-Jharkhand and is affiliated. This co-educational institute is located in a compact area of about 1 acres of area and is focused on offering only teacher education programmes. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers two full-time courses, Bachelors of Education and Diploma of Elementary Education for Teachers. The total intake of students is 400 while the faculty of the college is 30, so Pakur B.Ed. College has good student-teacher ratio which implies effective teaching.

Pakur B.Ed. College has a variety of amenities that will in one way or the other benefit the students’ learning. The admission process in Pakur B.Ed. College comprises the marks in the qualifying examination as well as or the marks in the entrance examination as and when their is one. Admissions in the college are conducted according to the norms laid down by the State Government of Jharkhand and affiliated university. In the same way, the admission process in D.El.Ed. course is strictly merit of the marks scoring in the qualifying examination or any other method as per the norms of the state government.
