Pandit Laxmi Narayan Memorial Mahavidyalaya, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, has been molded since its inception in the year 2008. The college is located in the village Gharvara (Tappal) and spreads over an area of 2.619 acres. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has conferred recognition to this institute, which is also NCTE affiliated. This explains that quality education is in the hands of experts who emphasize training for teachers. The college offers the B.Ed course, which takes up to 361 students who aspire to enter the teaching profession under the mentorship of 17 faculty members. 

Pandit Laxmi Narayan Memorial Mahavidyalaya has many facilities designed to ensure that there is a sound learning environment for its students. Among the key facilities in this institution is an ample library that houses B.Ed programme curriculum-related books and other general articles, enhancing the reading skills of the students. The Pandit Laxmi Narayan Memorial Mahavidyalaya offers only one full-time course: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. This is a two-year program that prepares a student for the profession of teaching and the program has an approved intake of 100 students. The B.Ed is the flagship programme for the institute, specialising in teacher education and stands out as having specialisation in teacher education. Though the college is currently obsessed with this single degree, it is vindicated that they are committed to quality education in the field of teacher training. 

Admission Policy Admissions for Pandit Laxmi Narayan Memorial Mahavidyalaya are managed according to the policies formulated by the State Government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. For B.Ed admissions, the students are granted based on merit done on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In some of them, an entrance examination or other selection processes may also be part of the admission procedure, as is prevailing now.
