Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. Programs: Admission to B.A. (Honours) programs offered by Pandit Raghunath Murmu Smriti Mahavidyalaya in the subjects of Bengali, History, Political Science, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy and Santali will be granted based on the students' performance in the 10+2 examination with the major percentage of consideration placed on subject-related scores.

B.Sc. Programs: The B.Sc. (Honours) program in Mathematics, Computer Science and Geography is offered by the college. Eligibility to B.Sc. program is based on solid academic achievement in the 10+2 science subjects. Population of B.Sc. Mathematics (Honours) comprises 86 students.

B.Sc. Forestry (Honours): A specialized program for those pursuing their career in the field of forestry and environmental science. The admission process considers the candidate's performance in science subjects at the 10+2 level.

M.A. Programs: The college offers M.A. programs in Bengali and Santali. The M.A. Bengali program has 25 seats while the M.A. Santali program can enroll 26 students. Candidates with a relevant bachelor's degree can apply.

M.Sc. Programs: Admitting Graduate Program in Science with Specialization in Geography, Geoinformatics, and Rural Development and Planning Postgraduate. Each of the M.Sc. Geography and M.Sc. Geoinformatics program will take on 25 students. The parameters for admission are based on the candidates' performance during their undergraduate program accompanied on an entrance test/interview process, depending on individual programs.
