24 MonthsThe need to ensure the wellbeing and the welfare of the people has been at the centre of every governmental initiative and scheme and the ability to deliver the needs of the people is hinged on the individuals who can provide the best insights in regards to effective public policy. The Faculty of Management offers a two year Masters Specialisation in Public Policy Management which seeks to develop the students' ability to understand and to navigate the various streams of policy making and the effective delivery of public welfare. Through this program, students will get to develop an in-depth understanding of public policy and the need for governmental involvement in solving social problems. It will go on to instruct students regarding the various methods to identify the characteristics of effective and ineffective policies by examining the conditions under which government actions may stifle intergenerational mobility, equal opportunity and better social and economic outcomes. As a way of imparting within the students the most essential hands on training, the program exposes students to the most current affairs which further allows them to develop unique insights into the realties of the socio-economic well-being of the people. The Faculty is equipped with experts and faculties who go on to possess the most enriching and comprehensive knowledge base and insights into the field. Upon completing the this program, the students will gain an ability to blend the various forms of public policiy with unique business management solutions to provide the most quintessential and vital solutions for the wellbeing of the people.
Candidate shall have passed Graduation with minimum of 50% for Open category (45% for Reserved category) from a recognized university.
