Hello Dear,

You will not be paid any stipend when you will do your externship in PMCH.

As per the rules specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and most medical colleges, it is possible to study in one medical college and apply for Internship in another but it is a long and complicated process. If you have completed your MBBS from Rama Medical College Kanpur, if you complete your internship there itself as you are familiar with the faculty, system and also entitled for a monthly stipend as per the rules. But if you wish to pursue internship from Patna Medical College and Hospital. This will require you to obtain No Objection Certificates from Rama Medical College, Patna Medical College and the MCI. You will of course have to fulfill the 'externship' eligibility criteria and requirements of PMCH and make it to the merit list to be selected. You may also have to pay a fee to PMCH for your training as specified and will not be paid any stipend when you do externship there.

Hope this helps!

Good Luck

Hello Dear,

Patna Medical College and Hospital was established in 1925 and originally known as Prince of Wales Medical College, is a medical college located in Patna. BSc in Medical Imaging Technology program is suitable for students seeking to expand their horizons and pursue a career field related to medical research & development or technological research in companies that lead to a breakthrough in diagnostic imaging.  It offers internships for medical students but I am not sure about the BSc students.

Good Luck

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

Till now the competent authorities have not released the cut-offs publicly and it is candidate specific so at this point of time it's quite difficult to help you with and accurate cut-off marks or rank for Patna Medical College, Patna but yes we can help you through previous year's cut-off marks and rank so that you can get an idea for this year. AIIMS Gorakhpur and Patna Medical College and Hospital both are leading government Medical colleges of India. But AIIMS Gorakhpur is quite a very new college while Patna Medical College and Hospital is one of the oldest medical colleges of India. It has been ranked at 37th position by NIRF among the top Medical colleges of India. But AIIMS Gorakhpur has not received any remarkable ranking yet. Being one of the oldest colleges, Patna Medical College has experienced faculties. Being a government Hospital, the patient load is heavy and the students get enough exposure. So considering all the points, it would be better to join Patna Medical college and Hospital. You can also read the student reviews to think which one to select http://www.careers360.com/colleges/patna-medical-college-patna

Hello,

Seems like that you have good chances in other government colleges based upon your AIR of 2758. However it is difficult to predict the exact colleges, it would had been better if you had mentioned your state rank, seems that you may have scored in between 620-640. This score is indeed a great fit for top government and private colleges.

Would suggest you to use our NEET college predictor to get the comprehensive list of colleges where you have chances of admission -

Thank you.

Last year Patna Medical College And Hospital had the cutoff score of 617 and the equivalent rank was 4552 under state quota for general category candidates. Now this year you have rank around 3200 which is better than last year's cutoffs. So you have pretty good chances in Patna Medical college and Hospital if you belong to the state Bihar. And if you try for all India quota then last year through all India quota the cutoff score was 637 and the respective rank was 1973. But it seems you have better score than 637 i.e. the last year's cutoffs. So through AIQ you can expect PMCH. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change. Hello,

With 624 marks your overall percentile is 99.58-100, and expected rank is 2907-4557(remember your exact rank might differ), now in 2019 through state quota 615 marks with respective rank of 4836 secured a seat in Patna Medical College and 605 marks with respective rank of 6733 secure a seat in Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences for OBC Category, hence you hold chances accordingly, however this is purely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjective to change every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.To know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our NEET College Predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
