PB Anchalik Mahavidyalaya, Kamrup: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

PB Anchalik Mahavidyalaya, Kamrup, was established in the year 1984. This affiliated college is located in Baranghati, Assam. The campus is spread over a compact 4.297 acres. The institution has served the cause of education in the local vicinity for almost four decades. The institution provides bachelors' level teaching up to the degree of BA in Arts. With 33 committed faculty members, P. B. Anchalik Mahavidyalaya works towards providing quality education to students from different sections. 

The college has several facilities meant for the enhancement of the learning experience and overall development of its students. The first on this list of facilities, among other things, would be a well-stocked library manned by qualified staff and furnished with an impressive collection of over 33,000 books. This is a big resource which is a pool of knowledge for students and faculty members alike. For the lovers of physical fitness, the college provides facilities for a variety of sports as well as a gym to help in physical fitness, in tandem with intellectual exercise. Apart from these, such facilities will help in developing a holistic approach to education. It will also instill a feeling of togetherness among the students of the institution.

In total, PB Anchalik Mahavidyalaya offers 10 courses, and all of them are full-time BA programs. These courses span across many disciplines in the humanities, thus meeting varied academic interests. The college offers general BA program and major courses, allowing students to specialise in their intended careers. BA courses for the general BA course to the majors, Philosophy, Assamese, Sanskrit, Economics, Arabic, Education, History, Political Science, and English. 

The application mode for the courses is Online and the selection process will be, as per the rules of the affiliating university. The cases of the students-to be are screened considering their performances in the qualifying exams. This way, the meritorious ones have a chance of pursuing higher education in college. The merit system applies to the diversification of courses also proves the inclusiveness policy of the college toward education as it caters to students with different academic inclinations in the arts stream.
