PDG College of Education, Bazpur is the beacon of academic excellence in Uttarakhand. This co-educational institution is situated at Bichpuri Farm, Bazpur. It aims to provide the most modern and contemporary skills and knowledge that will enable the aspirant teacher-fraternity. Being an affiliated college, it has a bigger university to which this college gets affiliation for achieving better results and maintaining standard and quality education. The distinction of the college is that it is NCTE, New Delhi-approved; hence, it ensures the quality of education is at a high standard. PDG College of Education has a compact campus of 0.9087 acres, offering an intimate learning environment to its 195 enrolled students, who are supported by a dedicated faculty of 13 members.

The facilities available in the college are many, and these facilities focus on enriching learning processes as well as the overall development of the students. It has a well-stocked library, which serves as the knowledge hub, offering students access to vast educational resources. There is also a departmental-based laboratory that allows students to practically involve themselves with the theories learned. Sports facilities for physical fitness and team-building skills; the auditorium where many events, seminars, and the like are held, help develop a vibrant campus life. Great importance has also been laid on the welfare of its students through the health center, first-aid facilities, gym for physical fitness, and a canteen that provides refreshments. The institution has a transport facility for commuting and a guest house that caters to visiting faculty and family members.

Currently, only one full-time course is offered by PDG College of Education: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program.  The B.Ed. course offered by PDG College of Education is comprehensive in theoretically conceptualizing modern education with practical teaching experience so as to build the foundation for an under-graduate aspiring teacher. The concentration towards a single program brings extreme dedication and expertise to deliver the syllabus in such a way that the graduates can excel in teaching with great flair.

In its programs, admission for students is based on previous academic achievement in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process as per the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university.
