Teacher training college in the southern Tamil Nadu, India: Peace College of Education, Dindigul which was set up in the year 2007. Established in 1929, this co-educational institute is located on a large ten acres of land to train future educators. With regard to accreditation, the college recognises the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Currently with 149 learners enrolled and 14 faculty members, Peace College of Education objective as a teachers training institution can be effectively achieved.
Teacher training college has equipped the institution with numerous well equipped modern facilities intended to support the college students learning process. In addition, the call has a well stocked library with 7200 books general and reference, 30 journals of which 10 are International, 10 magazines, 40 encyclopedias and 2500 CDs and DVDs. This library is technically advanced with modern software with a photocopier and it has been entirely automated. e the college has a health centre to ensure the well being in emergency cases the first aid is supplied in the institution. It is noteworthy that spectators can enjoy the different kinds of sports facilities and sport lovers who prefers fitness, they can utilise the available gym within the campus. The college presented computerised IT infrastructure facilities for the support of digital learning,fully equipped laboratories and a vast auditorium for events & seminars.
Peace College of Education currently offers one primary course: mainly the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two –year course that is fully accredited with the intention of producing competent teachers in the shortest time possible. The college is allowed to admit 100 students into this programme to show its ability to produce a good number of future teachers every year. This has a merit of directing its efforts and competencies towards achieving the best results in offering quality teacher education.

Admission requirements at Peace College of Education are based on merit in compliance with the policies recommended by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the University to which the College is affiliated to.
