Polba Mahavidyalaya, established in the year 2005, is an affiliated rural college in Hooghly, West Bengal. The said institution is situated adjacent to the railway stations Bandel Junction, Mogra, Pandua, and Khanyan and covers a total campus area of 4.54 acres. The college has been accredited by NAAC and provides a vast range of undergraduate courses. With an enrolment of 532 students and 31 faculty members, Polba Mahavidyalaya offers a suitable academic environment to pursue higher education. 

The college is endowed with several facilities that enrich the experience of the students. The well-equipped library, which is the knowledge hub, would provide a proper reading room and a comprehensive stock of textbooks and academic books. Polba Mahavidyalaya lays much emphasis on technology, and excellent infrastructure in regard to IT is provided with WiFi connectivity in the computer laboratory used for academic purposes.
