Recognised by a University and recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college has earned a good reputation in the field of education. Spread over 183,000 Sq. Ft of land, the institute offers a learning capacity of 183 students and teaching staff of 16 faculty members.

The college has rich resources of modern facilities necessary for improving the quality of knowledge being donated to its learners. From the findings, it became clear that well-stocked library is an essential source of educational materials to a society. On the campus, there are modern qualified laboratories where students can practice various disciplines.

Pope John Paul II College of Education currently offers one full-time course: As previously discussed, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This program is a two year degree that has been specifically created to allow students to become proper teachers in education. Although the college has an approved capacity of 100 students for this program, the college has ensured it has enough preparing to offer quality teaching to quite a number of students. The B.Ed program is quite broad, combining different aspects of teaching, learning theories, psychology of learning, and how to teach certain selected subjects.
