Prabhat Jyotirmoyee College of Education, Birbhum was established in the year 2012 at Satya Saipally, Abdarpur, Barabagan, West Bengal. It is a co-educational and affiliated institution approved by National Council for Teacher Education. This college, having an enrolment of 100 students with a total of 8 faculties, offers two specialized courses in education.

The course of Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed. is for 50 students and is purposed to prepare educators for Primary and Upper Primary Schools. Admission to Prabhat Jyotirmoyee College of Education is based on merit, with marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.
