Prajna Institute of Technology and Management, Pasala, was started as an affiliated college in 2007. This co-educational institution is located at Ramakrishnapuram, Palasa, on National Highway 5 and has been serving with the noble cause of nurturing technical talent since its inception a decade ago. 

PITM focuses on providing an all-round educational experience. Various facilities are provided for the overall growth of students. The institute has a well-stocked library that acts as a knowledge hub for both students and faculty. With this perspective changing in technology at a very fast pace, PITM has already invested in excellent IT infrastructure so that the students get an opportunity to work on the latest technologies. The institute is also equipped with departmental-specific laboratories, which assist students in implementing the theoretical aspects in practical life. For holistic development, sports facilities are available, motivating students to maintain a healthy balance between studies and physical activities.
