This is one of the most reputed colleges in its class, which is Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, Loni, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The college started in 1987 is a proud recipient of the first-ever "Nirmal College Award" given by the Maharashtra State Government to any college for the given period. Approved by AICTE and UGC, courses are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a total of 7 courses across 3 degree levels in pharmacy. This institute has a 5-acre campus with a total enrolment of 373 students and a faculty strength of 36. 

The facilities are many so that the students may get a congenial learning environment. The Integrated Library Management Software is KOHA, and resources are easily accessible through OPAC. A modern multi-gym and different indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided for physical fitness. The whole campus has Wi-Fi with high-speed internet connectivity, which is provided both by Reliance and BSNL. Various specialisations like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology are facilitated with the presence of well-equipped laboratories. The college has also provided separate boys' and girls' hostels with due care for comfort and safety. A well-equipped, air-conditioned auditorium of 250 sq meters with a capacity of 200 is used to arrange various academic and extracurricular activities.

Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy has courses available on streams of Pharmacy. The institute offers 7 full-time courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs. At the postgraduate level, the flagship program B.Pharma and D.Pharma course. At the postgraduate level, M.Pharma stream: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Quality Assurance Techniques, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. 

The admissions in Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy are mainly on merit and entrance examinations basis. For the B.Pharma course, admission is based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). Postgraduate programs are based on the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
