Prem Shanti Niketan Teachers Training College was set up in 2008 to offer Teachers Training programmes in order to disseminate education to the individuals in the country, and the College is an affiliated College in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This institution is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE and is a institution that offers only programmes in teacher education. The college is a small institution which is housed on a parcel of about 2700 sq. meters of land and has 185 students, 14 faculties. The school that is run under the banner of Prem Shanti Niketan provides only one degree course, Bachelor of Education (B.ed).

Prem Shanti Niketan Teachers Training College aims at contributing towards the development of the desired environment to nurture aspiring educators. It has several important infrastructures that enable students’ success within the scope of their educational process. The library remains centre for provision of resource materials; educational /developmental and reference books. In support of effective and practical learning, the college has functional departmental laboratories. Realising the impact of Information technology in present day teaching and learning environment, Prem Shanti Niketan has equipped the school with modern IT facilities; the students equally familiar with the teaching with assistive technology. Also, the college has sports facilities whereby the students are taken through exercise, games and any other activity that can help in formation of exercise and team building.

Prem Shanti Niketan Teachers Training College offers a single full-time course: The BachelorofEducation (B.Ed) programme´and the BachelorofEducation. This two-year programme has been particularly developed to produce competent teachers to meet the challenges of teaching profession with an approved capacity of hundred student intakes. The B.Ed course in Prem Shanti Niketan tries to provide run a rich need of expertise and knowledge that is required to be a good teacher in school. Unfortunately, the exact statistics about graduates are lacking, but the college has considerably devoted itself to only this single program required to educate teachers.

Therefore, the admission policy of Prem Shanti Niketan Teachers Training College is implemented as per the approval of the state government, U.T. Administration and the affiliated university. Fees structures and other charges are, normally, standardised and admission is generally on merit depending on marks in the qualifying examination and/or performance in admission tests/entrance examination.
