Priyadarshni Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guntur, established in the year 2005, has become a guiding light in the region for pharmaceutical education. The college is located at 5th Mile, Pulladigunta in Guntur over an area of 2.5 acres, housing diverse group of curious minds. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) gives its permission to carry out many pharmaceutical programmes in that institute. With an enrolment of 505 students and faculty strength of 44, the very favourable student-teacher ratio is assured. Four specialised courses are offered by the institute at three degree levels, which help serve many aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and research.
There are various facilities provided by Priyadarshni Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research for their students to improve their learning experience. A well-stocked library with more than 10,000 volumes and 2,500 titles are supplemented with a digital library providing access to the freshest of studies and technical journals. The campus has well-equipped, modern laboratories specially designed for each department that will help in giving the practical hands of experience to the students. Health centre with first-aid facilities, playgrounds of spacious dimensions for various sports, a canteen providing quality food at subsidized rates—contributing toward an all-round campus life. Priyadarshni Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research provides a total of four full-time courses: one at the undergraduate level, another at doctrate level and the rest at the postgraduate level. The B.Pharma programme is one of the prime institutions with an approved intake of 100 students. The institute provides M.Pharma programmes in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics at the postgraduate level. It imparts education at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in pharmacy with diverse aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and research. The admission process undertaken by the PIPER evaluates and admits deserving candidates for its numerous programs. The admission cycle at PIPER may generally be correlated with the respective academic year, usually commencing from August-September. Admission for undergraduate programs includes students who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as core subjects. Candidates for the postgraduate course must possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or any of its allied fields from a recognized university. PIPER uses various entrance tests for the admissions to various programs. The scores of GPAT are considered for admission into M.Pharm courses, while other parameters are required for the admissions of pharmacy postgraduates through AP PGECET.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharm: The B.Pharm at PIPER is a four-year undergraduate course with an approved intake of 100 students. The admission to this course is based on the performance of the candidate in the relevant state-level or national level entrance examinations conducted for pharmacy. The eligibility criteria state that he/she should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
M.Pharm: M.Pharm programs are offered by PIPER through Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics. The admission to these programs is done mainly based on GPAT or AP PGECET. Candidates must have a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university to be eligible.
Pharm.D: Pharm.D course at PIPER is a 6-year doctoral program in pharmacy; the admission is mainly based on the pharmacy entrance exam rank and 10+2 academic performance.
