About PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore
PSG College of Arts and Science was founded in 1947 by PSG & Son Charities Trust. PSG College of Arts and Science is also popularly known as PSGCAS Coimbatore is also recognised as ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), also recognised as “College with Potential for Excellence” by the University Grant Commission. PSGCAS Coimbatore is an autonomous college affiliated with Bharathiar University.
PSGCAS has a vision for the students to offer academic programmes and focus on the character and skill building of the students. Some of the popular courses offered by PSG CAS Coimbatore are BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA, MSW and several others. Admissions to all UG and PG programmes are based on the marks obtained in qualifying examinations except for MSW and MA Journalism and Mass Communication courses for which PSG CAS conducts its own entrance examinations.
PSG College of Arts and Science's objective is to provide students with a value- and need-based education, develop decent citizens, and instill a sense of compassion, kinship, and dedication to the unity of the country. PSGCAS provides its students with state-of-the-art classroom facilities; PSG College of Arts and Science provides excellent infrastructure, including seminar rooms equipped with contemporary amenities like sound systems and projection screens; and GRD Memorial Auditorium serves as the centre for all of PSGCAS's cultural and academic events. College students can also take advantage of sports facilities and hostels.

College Infrastructure
PSG college is good with clean infrastructure by satisfying all the needs and requirements. All the amenities are inside. There is hospital facility is also available just in case of emergency. Doctors and nurses are also there to take care.

The Infrastructure is well maintained with clean and neat campus with all the infrastructure facilities needed by the students. Hostel rooms and food court and mess food are also hygienic and rich quality.

A public university, PSG College of Arts and Science, is located in Coimbatore. It has a canteen, labs, a dorm, a health centre, etc.
The cost of the hostel, which includes meals, WiFi, and laundry facilities, is INR 1 lakh per year. The hostel outside is fairly nice and has all the amenities. Each person's meal costs INR 50, and it is possible to have well-balanced meals. With all the amenities, the classroom is of good quality.
