Pune District Education Association's Shankarrao Ursal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research Centre is situated in a 5-acre campus in Pune, Maharashtra. It is a Co-Education college established in the year 2009. PDEA's SUCOPSRC is an affiliated college approved by Pharmacy Council of India. There are 3 courses offered across 2 degrees, namely in pharmaceutical sciences. The college has 349 students and eight members on its faculty. The undergraduate program is basically backed by the B.Pharma course, a 4-year full-time course with an approved intake of 60 students. At the postgraduate level, PDEA's SUCOPSRC offers two specialized M.Pharma programs: M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Quality Assurance Techniques. The courses are 2-year full-time programs, which have been designed in keeping with the changing scenario and requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, with an approach to depth knowledge and practical skills development.

The admission procedure in PDEA's SUCOPSRC are mainly based on academic performance in subjects relevant to the course to be pursued and also on the scores obtained in the entrance examinations for the course of pharmacy. The admission procedure may perhaps be in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Pharmacy Council of India and the affiliated university.
