Purbanchal College is one of the oldest private colleges in Assam, established way back in 1996. It is a co-educational institution and is located at Dhemaji, Assam. The affiliated college covers an area of more than 4.6 acres of land and has been assessed and accredited by NAAC. There are a total of 1,457 students pursuing their courses along with a faculty strength of 48, thereby offering a diverse learning environment at Purbanchal College. At the undergraduate level, the college offers BA and B.Com, both are three-year full-time courses. 

The campus provides ample facilities to the students of Purbanchal College. The knowledge hub for the students is the well-stocked library of 50 square meters, which accommodates 100 students.
