Pushpagiri college of dental science Perumthuruthy, PCDS was established in the year 2006 which is one of the prestigious colleges in south India with high standards of education in dental science.. This affiliated college is situated at Thiruvalla, Kerala and the college occupies an area of 5.01 acres. PCDS is recognized by NAAC and recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI). This college has a total of 7 courses across 2 degrees and has students strength of 337 and the faculty strength of 88. PCDS boasts a diverse student body with 83% undergraduates and 17% postgraduates, maintaining a notable gender ratio of 1:4.5 (male to female).

Admission capacity of BDS is 50 seats and admission capacity of MDS programmes is the total of 14 seats in various branches. All programmes are in full time those are: The Bachelor of Dental Surgery – BDS which takes 5 years and the Masters in Dental Surgery – MDS taking 3 years. The college is made up of a total of 260 students, out of which 216 are accruing their education at undergraduate level while 44 are in post graduate level.

Admission to Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences is done through merit and is very systematic. In the case of BDS programme, admissions are conducted with reference to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Likewise for MDS programmes National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS) scores are considered. Scholarship facility is also available in the college for helping deserving students to meet their education expenses.
