Rabindranath Tagore College of Education for Women offers two full-time courses: a B. Ed programme of one year duration and an M. Ed programme of two year duration. Similarly, both programmes take two years to complete and the institution’s dedication towards a proper teacher education programme. The B.Ed programme is currently approved for Hundred seats and M.Ed has Fifty seats only. This means that the student intake will be 150, and it opens too many opportunities for woman who want to purse careers in this field. This focus in these two main programmes enables the college to give utmost priority to the preparation of teachers at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
