Raj Engineering College is an affiliated college started in the year of 2010 and is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. With a campus area of 25 acres, REC has grown into an important centre for engineering education of the area. It is an AICTE recognised college thereby making it follow standards of the country in this field. REC’s total student intake enrolment is 234, with faculty 27; therefore, it maintains a more direct enrolment ratio. The institute has an offer of four B.Tech programmes in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Mining Engineering to meet the broad engineering interests.

REC possess number of amenities that assist in the over arching student experience profile. The college library is an information centre with over 7500 well edited books, journals and reference materials on different fields. It also has an e-library section and is capable to provide with the current means of learning. As for practical sessions, REC has functional labs for each department of the university. The campus has availability of hostels for males and female which make sure that they offer a home like accommodation with adequate nutritious meals and recreational facilities. To support the health needs of the learners, this college has a well equipped gym for general body exercises. REC also maintains transport connectivity with own buses and it provides buses from different parts of Jodhpur and nearby towns. The existing academic structure at Raj Engineering College comprises its four full-time B.Tech degree programmes. These are four-year undergraduate courses intended to afford technical education in their different fields of specialisation. The total of intakes approved for all courses is one hundred and five whereas the seats for Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Mining Engineering are thirty each while Mechanical Engineering only has fifteen. All programmes offered are full-time with intense focus on the application of knowledge alongside with ideas. These core engineering disciplines are the ones that this college trains its students on with the aim of presenting as finished professional personnel in the field.

Raj Engineering College follows the criteria of the entry test conducted at national and state level. JEE Main is a national level common engineering entrance examination accepted by the college. In the same regard, REC is also accepting the scores of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) meant for candidates within the state. It also forms a balanced student intake with comparative competency in both approaches. The admission process is general and may require accredits JEE Main or RPPT score cards with merit basis list.
