Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College of Science and Education, Patia, is a co-educational college situated Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It developed into an affiliated college for this reason and it provides an extended list of courses in many fields. At present, the college is accredited with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to portray its conformity to quality provision of education. Located on a 15.47 acres of land, the institution educate 1,155 students in total and has 34 teachers and faculties. The college is offering 13 courses across 3 degrees making it a wholesome place to learn in disciplines such as Science, Arts and Commerce.

Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College of Science and Education has amenities that make learning as well as student development possible. Every school and university must have a library that contains all the knowledge students and some of the teachers need. At present, there are 13 undergraduate courses in the Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College of Science and Education in different fields of Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. All programmes are full-time, regular courses intended to deliver depth knowledge in respective areas. The total approved intakes sanctioned by the college are 1,155 in all courses offered by the college, to support a large number of intreating students annually. The courses offered are B.Com Hons, BA Hons in Political Science, Education, Odia, Economics, Home Science, B.Sc Hons in Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and so on. 

The criteria and requirement of admission in to the Raja Madhusudan Dev Degree College of Science and Education is fairly broad having a priority base on merit. The admission process of the affiliated colleges is conducted in accordance with the protocols of the parent university. The college may give a high consideration to the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, that is 10+2 or its equivalent.
