Rajrajiwari Dental College and Hospital (RRDCH), founded in 1992, is one of the premier dental health Institutions in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This affiliated college, which is recognised by the Dental council of India, possesses classes of Bachelors and Masters degree from the following disciplines: RRDCH is spread across a huge area of five acres total strength of the students is 511, and the total faculty strength is 120. The college is known for its diverse student body, with 42% of students coming from outside the state and a notable female-to-male student ratio of 3.78:1. RRDCH teaches 17 courses at three levels of degrees: BDS, MDS, and Ph.D., covering all areas of dentistry.

A number of service providers are offered in the college to improve the learning, teaching, and other activities of the students. RRDCH has a wide feature in providing different education programmes in dental field. Accordingly, it offers one undergraduate programme, BDS, with 100 seats for each academic session, nine postgraduate programmes, MDS in different specialties and five doctoral programmes. The total students’ enrollment is 540, with 80% at undergraduates and the remaining 20% at the postgraduate level. The college mainly provides full-time education, with all courses available only in this model. Out of the total 51 students who were awarded scholarships, the Institution showed its willingness to support deserving students for the academic year 2022.

RRDCH selects its students from the national-level entrance examination system with very minimal emphasis on direct admission. Admission to the BDS programme is offered through NEET, which is the National Eligibility and Entrance Test. Likewise, for MDS programmes, scores of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS) are used. It also accepts students from different states and living within the state to encourage a scientific variety of students in the college. Although specific details on scholarship are not clearly outlined, the college financial aids a number of students annually.
