Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor, formerly known as Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Engineering College of Information Technology, was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2009. It aims to provide technical education to the socially and economically weaker sections of society. REC Bijnor courses are approved by AICTE and offered in 3 disciplines: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Information Technology.
It was established in 2009 and affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Admission to Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor is entrance-based and candidates are required to qualify for JEE Mains. Only after clearing the cutoff during counselling, candidates are granted admission. The placement and training cell of Rajkiya Engineering College Bijnor offers internship and placement facilities to students. Scholarships are also offered to students with financial needs. REC Bijnor has many clubs, societies and committees for students to participate in. REC Bijnor receives financial support from the World Bank through TEQIP phase III.

Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.in my college has smart classroom, laboratories, library,sports centre and hostel .they are all used and well maintained. Some time my hostel is not clean also food .

College is having a good infrastructure, building,play ground, labs( virtual, practical), but there is no proper use of these facilities or I can say we don't get chance to go there and learn something .Hostel maintanence is very poor, no medical facilities , surrounding is just well not so clean.
