Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur was established in the year 2008 as one of the most noted medical institutes in Uttar Pradesh, India. This is a constituent college, approved by the National Medical Commission, offering varied medical programs across diversified specializations. The MBBS course is the flagship with an approved intake of 150 seats. The college does offer many MD and MS courses in the specialties of Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, amongst others. 

The merit-based admission process is followed at this institute with a standardized procedure. The MBBS admissions are made through NEET-UG. Students who wish to take up post-graduation courses for MD and MS are admitted based on the NEET-PG examinations. For the M.Sc programs, an entrance test is conducted by Rama University, which is followed by a formal interview.
