Ramadevi Mahila Shikshan Sansthan, Jhunjhunu, started in 2006, is a women’s college affiliated to Rajasthan University, India. The covered area of the institute is 30 acres and it is having 23 courses in 8 different degree programmes, and total strength of students studying here is 535 only. Currently the college has a faculty team of 13 therefore it successfully keeps the staff-students ratio relatively low. It is one of the reputed institute for arts, science and commerce with under graduate and post graduate courses. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) its aim is to educate the woman folk in this region.

Ramadevi Mahila Shikshan Sansthan has several features that seek to improve on the learning and development of the learners. Accompanying a comprehensive study are also overall and subject-based collections of textbooks, references, and periodicals available in libraries. The sports complex on the campus includes outdoor and indoor sport facilities to encourage game and teammanship among the student community. Thus, for students from neighboring areas the college offers a total of 18 buses operation within the 35 kilometer distance guaranteeing safe and on time transportation. The girls’ hostel, conveniently located on campus, has the following features: Power supply, both for lighting and other electrical appliances; Availability of hot and cold water; Recreation facilities. A cafeteria is provided for the college community for providing them with food and drinks in addition to adequate parking space for the faculty, staff, and students.

This organisation has a vast list of courses it provides for learning, and it currently has 23 full-time programmes offered in different fields. The institute offers 8 under graduate courses and 15 post graduate courses in arts, science and commerce streams. B.A , B.A Hindi Medium, B.Sc, MA History etc. B.Com and Integrated BA B. Ed programmes at the undergraduate level and M.A, M.Sc, and M.Com in different specialisation at PG level. For all the courses offered in the college, the college allows a total enrolment of 535 students which is testimony to the colleges’ desire to offer decent education to many female students within the region.

At present, the institution is accepting students on the basis of their scores in the entrance examination and their performance in the qualifying examination is considered for admission. As per the norms of the State Government/University or U.T admission to the programme may include an entrance test/other tests as applicable to the B.Sc B.Ed programme also. Academic sessions of the college are in accordance with the academic session of the affiliating university, registration starts after the declaration of +2 results in most cases. However, no specific dates for examinations are given, it is presumed that the institute accepts scores from state level or national level entrance examination for some courses.
