Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Howrah: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (RMV Howrah) was established in the year 1941. RMV Howrah offers full-time undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in various streams such as Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. RMV Howrah provides undergraduate courses such as B.A (Hons.) and  B.Sc (Hons.). However, PG courses of RMV Howrah include M.Phil, M.Sc and M.A.

RMV Howrah is an autonomous institute affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira provides 5 Ph.D programmes in Mathematics, Sanskrit, Bengali, Philosophy and Applied Chemistry. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of RMV Howrah for applying to UG and PG programmes.

Admission at RMV Howrah is done based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test conducted by the college and followed by the interview. Eligible candidates can also apply for various Scholarships to the students offered by the RMV Howrah.  Placement and career counselling cell of RMV Howrah help the students to get placed in reputed organisations. Placement cell also trains students to attend various competitive examinations.  RMV Howrah offers facilities including hostel facilities with all basic amenities, sports facilities, a library, and medical centres.

Kolkata Airport is around 15 km from the Institute and takes 38 minutes to reach the institute. Howrah Bus Depot is the nearest bus stop, situated 2.3 km away from the campus.
