Ramkrishna Mandal Institution of Education, Howrah was founded in the year 2010. It is one of the major teacher-training institutions of West Bengal, India. Co-education institute built on compact 1-acre campus to mold the future teachers. This is an NCTE, New Delhi-approved institution, permitted to run two specializations with a total enrolment of 277 students. There is a faculty strength of 24 experienced teachers to maintain a healthy teacher-tostudent ratio, ensuring proper attention and quality education.

Infrastructural facilities provided by the institute aimed at enriching the learning experience of the students. This library with 4,517 books functions as the knowledge center for the future teaching fraternity with a reading room having sitting capacity of 80. Admission in the B.Ed course is strictly on merit as performed in the qualifying examination.The admission procedure is granted keeping in mind the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations at Ramkrishna Mandal Institute of Education. While for admission to the D.El.Ed. course, the procedure is precisely followed, keeping in view the norms set by the affiliating body.
