Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya, Darapur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya situated at Darapur, it is affiliated to the Nashik University established in 2000 is a private colleges in Maharashtra. This institute is NAAC accredited and is associated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. Located on a 3 acre land, the college provides four undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce Science, Business Administration and Library Science. On a student intake capacity of 331 and a faculty capacity of 20, Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya ensures the student along with faculty a favorable circumstance for learning. The institute offers educational opportunities for both male and female students with basic desires of obtaining academic education. 

Among the boasts of the college include the various facilities available to make the general experience of the students better. It is not a new knowledge that the library as an essential component of the institution has long been established. Modern equipped Laboratories are important for equipping theory explanation by practical examples. We have adequate computers with internet compatible facilities providing total and efficient wireless internet to academic and student hostels. To ensuring that students maintain their health the college provides a gym to enable students exercise taking a balanced diet and doing exercises regularly. The dining hall provided in campus is used for the proper food consumption whereas the hall is used for seminars and other events. Infirmary with basic first aid stations students’ health services as well as medical facilities including a Health Centre.

In total the Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya has capability to teach four full- time courses for bachelor’s degree. These are Bachelor of arts, Bachelor of commerce, Bachelor of business administration, and Bachelor of library and information science. BA and B.Com are three-year courses, The BBA is also a three-year course and the B.Lib.I.Sc is a one-year course. The total intake of all courses that have been approved is 450 and breaching it for the different programs is in the following proportion; BA-220, B.Com -120, BBA-80 and B.Lib.I.Sc 30.

In this college, the admission criteria is more or less fixed on the result of the candidate’s previous years’ examination. Applicants seeking admission into the college are supposed to be qualified to take each course as well as capable of meeting the fee structure of the college. However, the college itself does not conduct the entrance examination for admission but supports eligible intensity to participate in the process for admission. The institute practices an uncomplicated application process that any candidate who meets the required admission requirements easily applies for admission. However, it should be noted that only the general dates for admission and other pertinent information concerning exams are not available at this time.
