Rayapati Venkata Ranga Rao College of Education, Guntur, established in the year 1983, is one of the premier institutions in the state that aims at reshaping the future of education. It offers five different courses in full-time, part-time, and research programmes. The two-year full-time B.Ed course with an approved intake of 150 students is the flagship programme. In addition, the institution offers M.Phil and PhD in Education in both full-time and part-time modes targeting those who intend to pursue further advanced research in the subject area. Admissions at Rayapati Venkata Ranga Rao College of Education are made very responsibly to choose the most promising students for its courses. Admission to the B.Ed course is based on the rank obtained in the AP EDCET conducted by the APSCHE, whereas admission into the said programme shall be made strictly based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination, subject to statutory reservation rules. The college also offers a 25% management quota for the B.Ed. programme. The admission to M.Phil and Ph.D programmes is based on a Common Entrance Examination conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University through ANURCET.
