Rayat Institute of Pharmacy at Railmajra was started in 2003 and it is one of the reputed pharmacy colleges in the state. Situated at Rupnagar, close to Chandigarh in Punjab this affiliated college has come to be established as a key contributor to the discipline of pharmacy. Rayat Institute of Pharmacy is offering five courses in total, out of which three levels are degrees. The institute offers regular courses full time course, the main course of the institute is B.Pharma which is a four years course approved capacity of 100 students. The D.Pharma has admission capacity of 60 and M.Pharma has 3 specialist courses namely 18 seats in Pharmaceutics, 18 in Pharmacology and 9 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. These programmes are a little bit unique and prepare students for elective areas of pharmacy service delivery in order to enhance their skills in specific areas of their interest.
