Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil Mahila Mahavidyalaya, established in the year 1989 of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha at Solapur, is a radiant landmark of women's education in the state of Maharashtra. This college, located at the heart of the city, Solapur, occupies a relatively compact 1.75-acre area. The institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). With an enrolment strength of 1,005 girls only and a faculty strength of 24, the college maintains an intimate learning environment. It offers courses in six courses under 3 degrees specialised in arts and commerce disciplines. 

Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil Mahila Mahavidyalaya boasts an array of facilities designed to enhance the educational experience of students. At its core are the library, a treasure trove of knowledge housing over 14,880 print books and 32+ print journals and magazines; the digital resources- a place exclusively equipped with internet-enabled computers, envisaging the transforming need of modern education; it also extends unparalleled sports facilities for those interested in sports. A vast ground provides courts for different games such as Kabaddi, Volleyball, and Kho-Kho, besides Cricket, Long Jump, Badminton, etc. There is an open gymnasium within the college. So, the fitness of students as well as the faculty will be promoted. 

Rayat Shikshan Sanstha's Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil Mahila Mahavidyalaya offer a big number of academic programmes. All these courses are conducted in a full-time basis, and the courses range from undergraduate to post graduate level. Six courses are offered by the college; 5 are for undergraduates and one is for graduate students catering to diversified interests and career aspirations of their students. The courses offered includes B.Com, BA Programmes, and M.Com. It follows the same philosophy as above, the institution also provides a number of scholarships to some of the worthy students to fulfill their quest for education.
