Hello aspirant,

With such a low score in general category you have negligible chances of getting a seat in government college for any branch. You have less chances in private colleges also. But go for a private college. You have chances only in private colleges.  I cannot tell the exact colleges you can get as the cutoff varies every year. But you can use our website's college predictor tool to have a look which colleges you can get based on your rank and score.

Here is the link below:

Thank you.

Hello Payal,

As of now there are no BAMS college predictor. If you wish to know your admission chances at various colleges for BAMS course then you have to check the cut off ranks required for various colleges. First of all make the list of the colleges in which you wish to opt the course and search for the required cut offs in each colleges.

Hope this Helps.

Good Luck!

There are plenty other options in Medical field even other than MBBS.

You can always try out these options of your hard luck didn't favour admission into MBBS Degree.

Just remember just like a doctor, even all these professions are nobel and very satisfying. Some of these are mentioned below

Physiotherapy- The course name is BPT Now this is a really cool branch for young students since one can opt to become physiotherapists for all the cool cricketers you admire ( just one of the options, you can work for any sport you like; Cricket was just my personal favourite. :P One may also work under some orthopaedic doctor to assist them in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Pharmaceutical studies- Pharmaceutical companies are booming recently, which brings great scope in it.

Nursing Courses- I can assure you that they form the majority of the para medical staff who form the core of the hospital. In foreign countries, the demand is even higher and the pay is really good abroad.

Then there is allopathy taught in Ayurveda colleges which is an evergreen and age old branch everybody would be knowing about.

Rest there is Unani which is some kind of traditional Arabic medicine, still practiced in Muslim culture and Mughal India.

Feel free to ask me in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

hope you find it helpful

Good Luck!

Hey,
You have decent Chances of getting admission in these colleges.
For getting Ra Poddar college, score  above 450 is required. Your score is very near to the cut off marks. So if the cut off marks increases, then it will be difficult for you to get admission in this college for BAMS course. Same goes for Ayurved Mahavidyalay Sion.

All the best

Hello aspirant,

Since you haven't mentioned a category here. So I will provide you information regarding general category :

If you score

420+you can get into a government college for BAMS

360+you can get into a semi government college for BAMS

119-280 you can get into a private college for BAMS

According to this you would be eligible for a semi government college.

Thank you

Hello Maithili,
Anything could not be said about what colleges you can get on the basis of your score in NEET, you should know that it would be too early to predict anything. The cut off trends tend to change every year and same can be expected for this year as well. However, for your given score, you have a feeble chance to get into a good college. If you want a decent level college you should have achieved a score of 500+ as an UR candidate. But you can try the college predictor for further information about colleges:
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Hi Candidate! To get a seat in government medical colleges a unreserved category student have to secure above 400+ marks and for the reserved category student have to secure marks above 300+ marks. As you have not mentioned about your category. If you mentioned about your category then I will provide you more clarified answer. If you are from reserved category then you may have chances to get BAMS college. But if I are from unreserved category you can apply for private college .

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

Hello,
Yes with this mark ,you do have  chances of getting a  government seat for the courses which you have mentioned above.
The expected cutoff marks for admission into these courses for general category students is around 300 for private colleges it's around 250. For obc category the cutoff would be even lesser. Just remember one thing that cutoffs vary from college to college. The cutoff changes almost every year,so nothing can be predicted much.cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of students who appeared for the entrance exam.
Just browse the link given below to get an idea about the colleges which you might get.http://www.medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor
Good luck

Hello,
You have scored extremely low in the entrance exam.with this marks i believe ,you can not get admission in any college even through state quota.
If you are really keen in pursuing a medical career then i would suggest you to prepare again for the entrance examination .Look out for a coaching if required. Put all your efforts and score well in the next attempt.if you will prepare properly then i am sure you will definitely score much more than what you have scored now.
Hope this helps
Good luck

To be true I regret to inform that 191 is counted as low score in neet examination . It is because there are around 1000 students fighting for each govt.seat . Hence the probabilities of getting a govt.seat even in bams college is low until you belong to reserved class. However you can try for private colleges whether in mbbs or bams
