Hello
If you are asking about the govt. medical colleges for BAMS/BHMS then it's a no.For govt medical college your score must be minimum above 300.Though you might get a seat in private medical college.
All the best for your future.
Hi Manoj
As per Government rules, you need to have your NEET scores to pursue BAMS like MBBS and BDS. Then you have to apply for the counselling for BAMS, which will usually be conducted after the counselling of MBBS and BDS. So, apply for counselling based on your NEET cut off marks.
All the best.
Hello aspirate
Your Neet score is low to get admission for bams course in government medical college. Your score should be 380+ for government college and 320+ for private colleges being an OBC student.
With your score You may get seat in private college through management quota or with donation .
Good luck!
Hello Mansi
Your Neet score is good to get admission in BAMS course and you have better chances of getting government medical college for to pursue this course.
Just apply for counselling and you'll surely get government medical college under 85% state quota. So don't worry.
Good luck!
Hello student,
In terms of BAMS, you qualify as an Ayurvedic doctor. You then specialise and treat patients with ancient herbs and medicines. Though the tyreatment is slow, but in most cases effective. Aftyer completing BAMS, you can open your own clinic or work in any ayurvedic clinics or pharmacy stores. Clinical reserarch or trials is another option. You can also opt for a course in Alternate medicine, naturotherapohy, panchkarma etc. Ofcourse pursuing an MD or MS in Ayurveda is there already. But you cannot pursue any other specialization that a MBBS student can opt for.
An MBBS student can practice as a general physician, someone dealing with minor ailments like cough, cold, bruises etc. They can open tyheir own clinic and treat patients for the above mentioned ailments or they can opt for an MD or MS in different genres like Cardiology, Neurologist, Radiologist, Gynaecologist, Psychiatrist, Endocrinology, Immunology etc. They can also opt for Clinical trials, or alternate medicine course.
But if you notice, as a MBBS, you have more options to specialise in and treat different ailments and specialise in one, whereas in BAMS, you can treat with only Ayurveda and that too ailments at a very preliminary stage.
Now its for you to choose.
Cheers!
Hello asiprant,
According to last year stats, the BAMS Cut off for SC category was approximately 250 for male and 220 for female. You must score approximately 400 and more for Admission in reputed BAMS. For private bams college you may definitely have a good chance with your calculated marks.
Cheers!
Hi,
Frankly your grades are really low and rank is too high. This year the ranks and scores have touched peaks. With this score there is very less chance for you to get a good government college seat. I will ask you to not waste much time and start studying again and score high so that you can secure a good seat.
BHU's requirement of rank and score is one of the highest in comparison to other colleges in the state. The higher you score, the better chances you have.
Even for BAMS, your score must be above 300 in order to get a good government college.
Don't lose heart.
Good Luck!
