RDRB Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RDRB Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh was started initially in 2001. The affiliated college is located at Natthupur, Loudhana, sprawling over a campus of 4.768 acres. The institute has been oriented to education with great dedication; the same is attested by its approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. RDRB Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational institution with 544 students at present, along with a 12-member faculty strength. It offers a wide range of academic programmes in different disciplines.

The RDRB Mahavidyalaya has facilities that help in enriching learning among students. At the centre of these amenities is a well-stocked library that meets the requirements laid down by the Graduation faculty and the University for the Faculty of Arts and Science. The library has not only an exhaustive collection of books but also subscribes to journals and reputed magasines at both national and international levels. Students can use the spacious reading room provided by the college, that accommodates 100 students simultaneously. There are departmental-based laboratories for hands-on learning and to obtain practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge.

There are a total of four courses offered by RDRB Mahavidyalaya, all of which are full-time programmes. These range from three undergraduate to one postgraduate course, catering to varied academic interests. The BA course is a three-year course, whereas the MA Home Science and Hindi, and B.Ed., are two-year courses. More significantly, the sanctioned intake of 100 for the B.Ed. course underlines the commitment of the institution to teacher education.

Admission procedure of RDRB Mahavidyalaya is course-wise different. In B.Ed, it is based on merit, which means considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
