Red Crescent College of Nursing ground at Kozhikode is one of the most renowned healthcare institutions in nursing education in Kerala – the state in India. Located at Feroke, Karattipadam this affiliated college has been approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) in order to provide quality education in nursing. The institute has a total of 198 students currently enrolled in full time B.Sc Nursing programme while faculty strength is 20. Medical center that is being referred to as Red Crescent Hospital is a multi specialty hospital which has some of the most modern diagnostic and treatment equipment along with experienced doctors. It has emergency services around the clock as well as has a pharmacy on the premises. The college library is well equipped with accommodation for 75 students containing the recent edition of books and magazines of Indian as well as other international publications. In the physical aspect of the students’ health and fitness, the institute provide facilities for indoor and outdoor sports activities and competition that includes inter school and inter class sports activities.

Red Crescent College of Nursing has a four years full course B.Sc Nursing programme for its students. The programme has also been approved with an intake of fifty (50) students per year to ensure that students receive adequate attention from the teachers. The main objective of these course is to educate student regarding different sectors of healthcare system and nursing profession, to empower students with enough knowledge and skills which is ultimately helpful for a successful nursing career.
