RIMT College of Architecture is at Fatehgarh Sahib and was established in 2004, It is one of the most reputed college of Architecture of Punjab, India. This co-educational institute is a constituent college situated on the Delhi-Jalandhar GT Road (NH1) at Mandi Gobindgarh, which is approved by the Council of Architecture. RIMT has a 20-member faculty comprising of specialised professionals that allows the offering of various architecture and design courses. It exemplifies commitment to delivering high-quality learning opportunities to students in architecture, interior design, and related specialisations for a successful profession in the built environment industry.

The infrastructures installed in the campus of RIMT College of Architecture to facilitate the students are well equipped. The college has modern studios and technical laboratories that let students get more familiar with work in chosen subjects. An extensive collection of books comprising a website, a webpage reachable through a cell phone, Pocket PC, and notebook acts as an informative student resource. There is also two different hostels for the boys and girls for out station students so that they can have comfortable stay. With regard to promoting health, the college has a gym. Also, the campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, hence guaranteeing students an easy way to get the necessary information over the internet. To enhance the comfort of student and staff, the college provides some facilities, such as car parking, cafeteria , a multicuisine food court, etc. In this college, all patients needing medical attention by qualified staff are attended to in a modern, equipped dispensary that is on campus; in addition, there is an ambulance.

RIMT College of Architecture offers seven different courses in total at a total of different levels of study. These are full-time undergraduate, diploma, and integrated programmes in architecture and the cognate disciplines. The largest and perhaps the oldest programme is the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and the approved capacity is 40 students. Other courses are Diploma in Architecture Assistantship, Diploma in Interior Design, BA in Built Environment Studies (Hons) and diploma/degree programs, respectively. The college also has a course in B.Sc. in Building Sciences for students with a passion for the scientific part of construction and architecture. This broad area of specialisation provides the learner with an opportunity to make a choice of the programme that best suits their desired career qualification within the area of specialization, that is, architecture & design.

RIMT College of Architecture has established an admission process that is meant to select the right candidates that will pursue programmes in this college. For the B.Arch programme, the universities follow norms wherein students need to appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or any other centrally recognised test, such as JEE Main. These examinations test the prospective candidate’s ability toward architecture and design. This college is open to all students who have sat for either of these examinations and this tests fairness in the selection of the students. 

For diploma and other undergraduate courses, therefore, admission requirements may differ and any interested persons are advised to verify the requirements of their preferred course.
