Rizvi College of Architecture, Bandra: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in the year 1992, Rizvi College of Architecture, Bandra, has emerged as one of the premier institutions for architectural education in the state of Maharashtra. Affiliated and approved by the Council of Architecture, this affiliated college runs various programs in the discipline of architecture. Rizvi College of Architecture only offers a concentrated learning environment, housing as many as enrolment of 347 students, with a faculty strength of 25.

The college has a host of facilities to enhance the learning experience for its students. The knowledge hub would be a well-stocked library with all books, journals, and magasines that one can get related to architecture. It has an enormous collection of materials from theoretical to practical works concerning architecture. The commitment towards technology reflects in the computer lab, well-appointed with 80 computers loaded with the latest industry-standard software such as ArchiCAD, which assists students in developing their digital design skills. 

Rizvi College of Architecture offers three full-time courses at different levels of architectural education. Its flagship program is the five-year Bachelor of Architecture with 80 students, viz., B.Arch. The College also offers a two-year Master of Architecture in Urban Design with 20 seats for those who require advanced specialisation. Further, there is a three-year Diploma in Architecture, D.Arch course with an intake of 40. Thus, the total student intake for the college's various programs is 140, offering fully fledged architectural education from diploma to postgraduate level.

Admissions are made on a selective basis to choose the most promising candidates for Architecture. The B.Arch at the undergraduate level requires aspirants to qualify in an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by either National Testing Agency's JEE Paper 2 or National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by Council of Architecture. For M.Arch Urban Design, a non-zero score is needed in MAHM.ARCHCET. Being considered as a standardised test for architecture aptitude, the college accepts NATA scores for admissions.
