RJ Thakur College of Arts and Commerce, located in Veer Savarkar Nagar near Kamgar Hospital in Thane district, has been educating young minds since 2003. The affiliated college has hence made itself a noted college for the study of arts and commerce at the higher level. Having a significant campus area off 1.695 acres the college has grown to accommodate an enrolment of 1,204 students, and a faculty of 19 members that is highly dedicated. RJ Thakur College runs on three full-time undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Arts (BA), towards different academic and careers. 

The college enjoys self-sufficiency and has several good amenities to work towards the learning experience of its students. The well-equipped library, with the availability of book bank facilities, is functional from 7 am to 6 pm daily. The college boasts of excellent IT infrastructure, and so, students are provided with the latest in technological facilities.
