RKG Educational College was founded in the year 2008. It is one of the premier educational institutions situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The campus lies opposite to Babasaheb B.R. Ambedkar University on Raebareli Road; it spreads across a stretch of 1.23 acres. As an affiliated college, RKG Educational College, Lucknow has been accredited by the NAAC and approved by NCTE. The institute offers a co-educational environment, with diversity and inclusivity having been maintained in the enrolments of 152 students. The college maintains a student-to-teacher ratio by assuring one-on-one interaction and quality education, having strong faculties of 17 committed teachers. 

RKG Educational College has all modern facilities designed for improving learning experiences of students. The library is one of the jewels that houses 4,098 books, 57 encyclopedias, 12 journals, and 5 dictionaries within its treasure. The college provides specialised laboratories for students, like Science Lab, Psychology Lab, Educational Technology Lab, and Computer Lab with internet connectivity and 30 latest configuration systems. The campus provides facilities in the form of an auditorium for conducting events and seminars and a cafeteria to serve refreshments, besides sports premises to promote physical fitness. A health centre with first aid facilities and gym is also available to aid to all aspects of student welfare.

At present, RKG Educational College conducts a single major course-the B.Ed programme. This is a full-time two-year course aimed at taking the new generation of teachers to teaching careers. B.Ed has 100 approved seats, and therefore this college wants to continue its aim of quality along with the accommodation of a number of students. This course include both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in teaching so that well-rounded education professionals can be produced.
