RNS First Grade College, Channasandra: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

RNS First Grade College, Channasandra, was started in 2012 and it is located in Channasandra of Bengaluru, Karnataka. This affiliated college is on a 5.025 acres campus and has been extending its efforts in making sure that the education it provides to the deserving students is optimally good. The college has received accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC, underlining the college’s focus on standards and it has not only maintained accreditation but also received it. RNS First Grade College has a strength of 1018 students with 27 faculty members providing a number of undergraduate programmes in commerce and technology.

RNS First Grade College has a number of features that can accommodate students and are aimed to improve the learning process. Sports enthusiasts will have access to two huge play grounds to support all genres of outdoor games like volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, football and throw ball. An indoor court is mainly for shuttles badminton and table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. The well equipped gymnasium improves the physical exercise of the students. The college library, which was set up alongside the college when it was established in 2012, is an information centre with an open access and facility with automated services. It maintains an expanding library sectional collection of books, journals, magazines, e-resources with facilities that create an appropriate atmosphere for learning. The campus facilities include well equipped modern IT to allow  the students update with latest technologies in the market.

RNS First Grade College offers 4 full-time undergraduate programmes, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), MBA and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). All these programmes take three years to complete so as to equip students with adequate knowledge in their fields of study except MBA. The college has a total Student intake capacity of 1,018 and the college management strictly adheres to a student-teacher classroom ratio.
