Located at Sherpur, Khelmau, Jhabreda, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, Roorkee College of Education was established in the year 2010. The college is affiliated. The co-educational institution runs on a compact campus area of 0.67 acres and has NCTE approval. The primary aim of the institution is to value quality education for teaching. There is only one full-time course in Roorkee College of Education, and that is a two-year B.Ed. course. The course in B.Ed. provides competency and knowledge to the trainees for better performance in the field of education.

Admission to the Roorkee College of Education is done as per merit, on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
