Rose Teacher Training College was established in the year 2006 as one of the renowned institute for providing Teacher Training College in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college that is NCTE approved institute and is recognised under section 2(f) of the NCTE Act 1993. Located on 2 acre campus, the college provides positive learning environment for those wishing to become teachers. Rose Teacher Training College has a total student jury of 192 and faculty strength of 16 members, which improves individual student-teacher interaction as well as standard education delivery.

Rose Teacher Training College  has a range of facilities that are relevant to the modern learning process. A well stocked and a fully computerised library is also accessed that contains a number of books, magazines, research papers etc. The college has also good amenities like well-equipped laboratory, smart class rooms,and good IT facilities to promote practical knowledge and education. To achieve over all development of the students, the institute has facilities for sports, auditorium for functions/seminars and scholarships for different co- curricular activities. In addition, there is a canteen within the campus facilities, a health centre with first aid as well as the guest rooms for the faculty and student visitor’s families.

Rose Teacher Training College has only one principal course for offer, which is the Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) programme. This in-take comprises 100 students, and the course is a full-time two years course. The B.Ed programme is deliberately set up to produce professional teachers who would fit into the teaching profession and practice with ease and efficiency. Therefore the college emphasises in teaching pedagogy, teaching most items using real life examples from day to day life.

Like most colleges in Malawi, Rose Teacher Training College admission is given based on certain qualifying marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The college operates under the admission policy enacted by the state government and the university to which the college is affiliated to. According to the college, it acknowledges the idea of developing competition besides managing several activities by the participation of the students in preparation to join teaching service.
