The RS College of Education, Kaimur, was started in the year 2013 at Nawagaon, Taluka-Bhabua, Kaimur, Bihar. It is a co-educational affiliated college. The institution stood recognized by the NCTE, and hence looks after quality teacher education. This compact campus has an area of just 1 acre and has a student strength of 126, accommodating 13 faculty members.

RS College of Education has many facilities supporting the learning processes of students. At the core acts the library, which serves as an information backbone center and is meant to assist students in their educational curriculum with a wide array of materials. The sports facilities shall cater to healthy balancing between academics and recreational activities for the people more inclined towards the physical activities. The IT infrastructure of the college is formulated to support students amidst a digital ambience, in which modern education has been invaded. B.Ed, being the core programme of RS College of Education, is a regular two-year course. The institution stands approved in the intake of 100 students in the B.Ed. course. The programme is designed to help the aspiring teacher develop a sound theoretical and practical basis in education.

The admission to RS College of Education shall be based on merit and by following policies prescribed by the state government and the affiliated university. The selection of candidates for admission to the said course will be based on their performance at the qualifying examination, which if necessary can be supplemented with an entrance examination or any other selection process as decided by the concerned authorities. This will make sure that only well-motivated and able candidates are admitted to the B.Ed. course.
